Technology developer Lontra has joined forces with specialist compressor manufacturer Ultra Electronics Precision Air Systems to develop the innovative Blade Compressor™ for medical markets. The companies will collaborate to develop an efficient air feed compressor for oxygen generation systems and other niche applications.
The compact, quiet and energy efficient Blade Compressor™ has significant advantages for portable oxygen generation systems. These can reduce costs and increase availability of supply by replacing oxygen tanks in mobile medical facilities.

Ultra Electronics Precision Air Systems will develop the Blade Compressor™ for oxygen generation systems for initial military markets, and other niche applications more widely.
