Environmental technology start-up Lontra has been strengthened today as two highly experienced engineers joined the company’s advisory board.

Dr Alex Moulton CBE has joined to provide strategic advice on innovation and exploitation of technology. One of the UK’s most respected engineers and innovators, Alex is famous for his work on vehicle suspension and Alex Moulton Bicycles. His career dates back to the Mini.

Fred Nash is a Combined Heat and Power expert, who brings an understanding of CHP technology and the market to the company. He is joining an advisory board which includes environmental technology entrepreneur Dr Peter Mucci and finance expert Sir David Chapman.

Lontra’s Business Development Director Simon Hombersley said: “We’re a young, small, dynamic company, which is an advantage in the fast moving technology world. But we also appreciate the value of experience, and the expertise that comes with a long, top-level career. We’re very grateful to all our advisory board members for recognising our potential at an early stage, and we’ll be picking their brains for advice and guidance as the company grows.”
